Watch as America’s Got Talent teen dancer earns a standing ovation from Sofia Vergara in a moving new episode clip

America’s Got Talent got off to a very strong start with the first two episodes of season 14 and the first two Golden Buzzer winners The audience and judges were moved to tears. The next episode, which airs June 14, features a teenage dancer whose performance will also have a powerful impact on at least one of the judges. In an exclusive clip for the next episode (see above), 18-year-old Australian Max Ostler will give a performance that deserves a standing ovation from Sofia Vergara herself. Listen!

Both Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum look quite moved, which Max Ostler delivered in his America’s Got Talent Auditioning with his dance set to James Arthur’s Falling Like The Stars. Still, Vergara is the member of the jury who wasted no time in getting up for the ovation, and the crowd behind her quickly stood up as well. Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell certainly applauded, so will the teenage dancer get the votes he needs to keep going?

Fans will have to watch the episode to find out, but it seems certain that Sofia Vergara will give him a voice to move on. The judges are always looking for something they’ve never seen before, so it should be interesting to hear her commentary for Ostler. The dancer brought both emotion and acrobatics to his dance, which is an important combination when it comes to connecting with viewers and potential homesteaders across the board.

However, Max Ostler must advance in the competition before his fate is in the hands of voters back home. He looked pretty happy when he finished dancing, and who could blame him when he had a theater full of people (including the modern family alum) up for him? It’s worth noting that the jury already promoted a fairly wide variety of performers at the audition stage, and the two Golden Summer winners had different types of performances, though 11-year-old powerhouse Madison Taylor Baez and 21-year-old saxophonist Avery Dixon performed both songs.

Find out more about Max Ostler’s story and whether or not he’s moving on from auditions in the next new episode of America’s Got Talent, airing Tuesday, June 14 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The competition for the $1 million prize is already fierce, and recent seasons have ended with a multitude of winners, so it’s everyone’s game at this point. Make sure to keep tuning in and checking in on Tuesdays a Peacock subscription to watch and/or rewatch the entire season so far.

Whether Max Ostler has the talent for it or not AGT Acts have to make it to the end… Well, there hasn’t really been a trend of who wins and who loses in recent years, and that bodes well for anyone skilled enough to earn an ovation from a judge. Magician Dustin Tavella won season 16 after that get a confidence boost late in the gamewhile Spoken Word poet Brandon Leake made history with his victory in Season 15. Kodi Lee is the youngest musician to win with his triumph in season 14 while the magician Shin Lim took the win the grand prize in season 13. Season 12 belonged to Darci Lynne and her dolls.

These five latest winners are proof of a big thing: there’s no such thing as an achiever who wins year after year. Could this be the season where one dancer takes over? Keep tuning in to find out!
