Chandigarh, Sept. 16 (PTI) Punjab-based VueNow Infotech, an edge data center (DC) establishment company, announced Thursday that it has signed a pact with Bulgaria’s Plovdiv Tech Park to build its data center infrastructure to strengthen.
“In the initial phase, the company will develop a master hub location with a 100-rack data center in Plovdiv and six edge data centers (EDCs) that will help Bulgaria achieve data security,” said the company’s director, Sukhwinder Singh, in one of these Expression.
Singh said that in addition to setting up the DCs and EDCs, the company also plans to set up competence development centers across Bulgaria to train the youngsters in IT skills and then take them into the company’s technical departments to create jobs in Bulgaria.
An edge data center is a self-functioning data center that provides localized IT provisions for cloud services with computing, storage and analysis resources for application processing and data caching.
The letter of intent with Plovdiv Tech Park was signed in Bulgaria last month, he said.
Singh said that upon entering Bulgaria, the company will focus on other countries such as Serbia and Kosovo. PTI CHS HRS
