Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath discussed details of all projects ready and ongoing at a meeting with officials in the city late on Monday evening. He said: “A total of 75 projects worth over Rs 736 crores are ready for inauguration in Varanasi, which has seen a historic development over the past seven years.”
Before leaving the city on Monday evening, the CM inspected Rudraksh, the International Convention Center, which was built with a budget of Rs.186 billion as a symbol of Indo-Japanese friendship. Officials expect Prime Minister Rudraksh to dedicate ICC to the nation and also inaugurate finished projects and lay the foundation for new ones from the same location.

Regarding the new projects, Department Commissioner Deepak Agrawal said: “The construction of the CIPET building with a budget of 40.1 billion rupees is at the top of the list for which the foundation stone is being laid.”
Foundation stones for a 12-storey transit hostel for the police at Police Lines (24.96 billion rupees), an integrated pack house for mango and vegetables in the industrial area of ​​Karkhiyao for the export of agricultural products (15.78 billion rupees), an ITI in Mahgaon (14.16 billion rupees), shooting range (5.04 billion rupees), development of the sports infrastructure in the Sampurnanand Sports Stadium (3.86 billion rupees), urban square design under the Lehartara-Chowkaghat overpass and beautification of one Ashrams in Manikarnika Ghat (15.81 billion rupees) are also being relocated.
Eight urban development projects, including water supply plan Priority I in sis-Varna of 108.53 billion rupees, water supply works in Trans-Varuna of 19.49 billion rupees, two MW solar power plant in the Bhelupur water treatment plant of 17.24 billion rupees and Die Sewer laying in the Konia Ghat area at Rs 15.03 crores will also begin.
Up to 12 projects for rural connecting roads at Rs 86.07 crores and the renovation and repair of 35 rural roads at Rs 25.19 crores will also be started.
