Luck: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal began his four-day trip to Uttar Pradesh on Monday addressing recent allegations that the head of the Aam Aadmi party is supporting separatists. The AAP convenor hit out at the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying raids by the Enforcement Directorate, the CBI and other investigative agencies have found no evidence of wrongdoing against him.
“BJP raided all the authorities but they got nothing. When I asked him he said that there is a poet in Ghaziabad who said Kejriwal is a terrorist. Modi ji remove all authorities… RAW, NIA, CBI, ED… and keep this poet. He will say who is a terrorist,” the AAP leader said in Lucknow.
The Prime Minister of Delhi said he was a “terrorist” who “incites fear in the corrupt,” citing a dialogue from the Scholay Movie. “Jab baccha bhrashtachar karta hai toh maa kehti hai soya beta varna Kejriwal aajayega…” he joked.
Earlier Sunday, Delhi’s BJP accused Kejriwal of having an “anti-nation mindset” and said he “bought votes” by taking money from Khalistanis. “The harsh truth is that he (Kejriwal) is buying votes by taking money from Khalistanis and agreeing to whatever they say. He now calls himself the cutest terrorist and that is correct because he included those involved in the Delhi riots in AAP,” claimed Delhi BJP Chief Adesh Gupta.
The remark alludes to Kejriwal’s recent claim that the allegations are “ridiculous” and that he must be the “cutest terrorist in the world” who builds schools and hospitals. “They have all banded together against me and are calling me a terrorist. It’s a comedy. If that’s the case, then why is[Prime Minister Narendra]having Modi ji arrested?” Kejriwal asked during a press conference last week.
Ahead of the fourth phase of the UP Assembly elections, Kejriwal today began his four-day tour of the state to rally support for party candidates. The Prime Minister of Delhi began addressing a public meeting in the Qaisarbagh district of the national capital and will visit Barabanki, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur during the four-day visit. He will also participate in various AAP election-related programs. He will be joined by Sanjay Singh, leader of the party from Uttar Pradesh, and three to four MLAs from Delhi.
