SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 15 (SeeNews) – All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in positive territory on Wednesday, helped by gains from blue-chip member Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] and IoT product manufacturer Allterco [BUL:A4L]showed stock market data.
The SOFIX index rose 0.05% to 611.68 points, despite a 4.76% decline in First Investment Bank or Fibank. [BUL:FIB] to 2.0 leva with a trading volume of 3,608 shares.
Advance Terrafund REIT rose 3.51% to 2.95 levs with 31,600 shares bought and sold after the company previously announced that it had bought 111.5 hectares of agricultural land at an average price of 7,087 euros ($7,412) in May. bought per hectare.
Allterco was also among the blue chip gainers, gaining 3.05% to 18.60 leva as 1,205 shares were bought and sold. Allterco announced earlier in the day that it will fund its US subsidiary with an additional $1.5 million.
Win at Fairplay Properties REIT [BUL:FPP] and Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] helped the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded stocks on the Sofia Stock Exchange, rise 0.13% to 143.53 points. Fairplay Properties closed 11.29% higher at 0.69 leva, while Sirma Group Holding was up 3.95% to 0.79 leva.
The BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% are equally weighted, rose the most on Wednesday, closing 0.14% higher at 734.51 points, helped by a 2.86% rise in the Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE] to 10.80 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, rose by 0.07% to 179.20 points.
Drug manufacturer Tchaikapharma [BUL:THQM] was the most-traded stock on Wednesday, generating around 43% of total sales. Turnover on the BSE rose to 2.16 million levs ($1.15 million) on the third trading day of the week from 1.36 million levs on Tuesday.
