Sofia Hasmik becomes the regular series for season 2 – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Sofia Hasmik, who returns as journalist Chrissy Beppo on the CWs Superman & Lois, was promoted to the regular series for the upcoming second season.

Hasmiks Chrissy Beppo is a journalist with the Smallville Gazette who has a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. For the daredevils with dreams of bigger and better things, a chance encounter with their idol changes their path in life.

The show concludes the final episodes of its first season with its season finale on August 10th.

Superman & Lois
revolves around the world’s most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent, played by Tyler Hoechlin, and the most famous comic book journalist Lois Lane, played by Elizabeth Tulloch, dealing with all the stress, pressure and complexity that comes with working parents in today’s society.

Also cast are Jordan Elsass as Jonathan Kent, Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette as Sarah Cushing, Wolé Parks as The Stranger and Adam Rayner as Morgan Edge, with Dylan Walsh as General Samuel Lane and Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang Cushing.

Based on characters from DC by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman & Lois is developed by executive producers Greg Berlanti and Todd Helbing with Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns and David Madden. Todd Helbing wrote the teleplay for the first episode, based on a story by Berlanti and Helbing. Lee Toland Krieger as executive producer and director of the first episode. Superman & Lois is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Hasmik recently repeated on restarting 2019 Crazy about you and appeared on the Netflix feature alongside Elle Fanning and Justice Smith All bright places. It is represented by the Global Artists Agency and Think Tank Management.
