Hyderabad: The city-based National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management Hyderabad (NITHM) signed a letter of intent with the University of Food Technologies (UFT), Plovdiv, Bulgaria to develop cooperation in research and education in tourism and culinary science Exchange of students and lecturers, joint research projects, participation and organization of joint conferences and workshops.
The MoU was virtually signed during a conference on “Hyderabad and Plovdiv Cooperation in Innovative Education and Tourism,” according to a press release. The conference was organized by the Consular of Bulgaria for Telangana State, Plovdiv Tech Park, Orpheus Club Wellness and Hyderabad Talkies. It was supported by NITHM, Mahatma Gandhi Bulgarian-Indian Technology Forum Foundation, Mahatma Gandhi International Higher School of Informatics and E-Leadership, Bulgaria, Plovdiv Municipality, Plovdiv University of Food Technology, and Varna Free University, Bulgaria.
The Ambassador of India to Bulgaria, Sanjay Rana, and the Ambassador of Bulgaria to India, Eleonora Dimitrova, discussed cooperation and promotion of the development of tourism and trade between Bulgaria and Hyderabad.
