With the introduction of international standards in Sri Lanka, Maliban was certified with the ISO 9001 quality management system in 1995, making it the first food company in Sri Lanka to receive this certification. In 1996, Maliban became the first food company to receive the National Quality Award. Maliban successfully won the same award in 2010 and 2015, one after the other.

Even with the outbreak of COVID-19 last year, we were able to quickly adapt and change the way we work and invest millions of rupees to ensure the safety of our customers and employees alike. âMaliban was recognized by the world-renowned Asia Pacific Quality for three years in a row Organization (APQO) honored with the Global Performance Excellence World Class Award.
The two golden rules that the entire Maliban organization is committed to are to improve the welfare of society and provide quality products to consumers. Through these two principles, the decade-old organization intends to protect the uniqueness of its âMalibanâ brand name as it stays in the hearts and minds of consumers to pass on to future generations.
