After Kevin Spacey, the actor who played the iconic role of Frank Underwood on the House Of Cards show, was shouted at by several women during the #MeToo movement and even having Havey Weinstein convicted, people thought others in the industry were even so were more remotely inclined to exploit women, would see this as a warning sign and step back.
And of course, that was the narrative for a while, until everyone felt vulnerable and scared.
However, back then people were not called as strongly as they are today, which meant that many unfair and disgusting things simply got by.
Just like Gordon Ramsay, aka the British chef who is known for his impeccable cooking skills and taste, made a rather problematic picture in an interview in 2010.
When Ramsay appeared on the Jay Leno Show with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, he acted like the typical prototype man we would dissect and discard today for his inappropriate behavior on social media. But since none of this was in place in 2010, the chef didn’t cause that much controversy.
However, the clip of the 2010 interview surfaced again, showing a rather desperate Gordon Ramsay making uncomfortable remarks about Sofia Vergara and constantly trying to touch her, taking things a little too far.
Gordon Ramsay is in the heat for a re-emerged video with Sofia Vergara in which he:
– made several sexual innuendos to her
– touched her thigh
– made her visibly uncomfortable https://t.co/7uXQYslGTP pic.twitter.com/YgMkrFos8S

During the interview, when there was a slideshow showing Sofia’s trip to Italy, Gordon Ramsay started making some harsh comments that made us all question his social etiquette.
From comments about how loud she would be in bed to enjoying a bite of pizza … Gordon got off track and honestly made us shudder more than anything.
Sofia, on the other hand, was noble the whole time, changing the subject or even dispelling the awkwardness with a laugh and saying “not sensitive” to keep her boundaries.
When the clip went viral, fans had a lot to say. One fan wrote: âSofia is the ultimate woman. Smart, sooo funny and witty, talented, bombshell, beautiful face, seems to be a great mother, hardworking and does not allow herself to be intimidated or worn out by misogyny. These two had no idea how to act around them. ”
Yes, I was outraged throughout the video and couldn’t bear to watch it a second time

Another said, âThis has nothing to do with being a feminist, anyone with a little self-respect and empathy can see this crossing the line. I am a man and I don’t want any woman / random man to invade my privacy so physically and verbally. ”
In fact, fans even argued that men other than those trying to make women feel that way are just as guilty, considering that Jay Leno could have looked better at the situation at hand and didn’t leave Sofia in that position all the time can do the show.

Guess Gordon Ramsay’s career was almost saved thanks to Sofia Vergara’s class and lack of social media reputation culture.
But if we were him, we would still take every step very precisely!
