Europa Conference League Qualification: How It Works, Fixtures & Results | UEFA Europa Conference League

What is it?

Qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League runs from July 6th to August 26th. Over the course of four rounds with two legs, 163 teams will be reduced to 22, which will advance to the group stage along with 10 losers from the UEFA Europa League play-offs. In contrast to the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, no teams automatically qualify for this group stage. There are two qualification paths: Champions Path and Main Path.

How does the Champions Path work?

The Champions Path includes national titleholders who are eliminated from the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League. The teams will enter if eliminated from these two competitions and join teams promoted from the previous qualifying round of the Europa Conference League. There are three levels:
