Covid-19 in Bulgaria: death toll exceeds 20,000 mark

The death toll in Bulgaria among those who tested positive for Covid-19 has the disease from 20 to 20 028, according to the Ministry of Health report.

Of 4,740 tests for Covid-19 carried out in Bulgaria last day, 458 – about 9.66 percent – turned out to be positive, according to the report.

So far, 482,186 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria, of which 38,734 are active, down 654 from the previous day.

The September 20 report said that last day 1,069 people in Bulgaria were registered as recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 423,424.

In Bulgaria there are 4,750 patients in hospital with confirmed Covid-19, an increase from 47 last day, with 391 in intensive care, a decrease of five.

According to the report, 14,217 medical workers have so far tested positive in Bulgaria, including one on Sunday.

According to the report, 2,463,666 vaccine doses against Covid-19 have been administered in Bulgaria so far, including 1,697 on Sunday.

According to the figures in the report, a total of 1,276,139 people in Bulgaria completed the vaccination cycle, including 1,264 on Sunday.
