77 people in Bulgaria who tested positive for Covid-19 died last day, bringing the country’s disease-related death toll to 20,812, according to the Health Ministry report dated Sept. 30.
Of 19,237 tests done the previous day, 2,142 – about 11.13 percent – were positive.
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Bulgaria has so far surpassed the 500,000 mark and stands at 500,112, a number that includes the deceased, the active cases and those who have recovered from the virus.
There are 43 520 active cases, up 749 on the last day.
According to the report, 1,306 people have been registered as recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 435,780.
In Bulgaria there are 5172 patients in hospital with Covid-19, an increase of 20 last day, 458 in intensive care, an increase of nine.
Twenty-seven medical personnel tested positive the previous day, making a total of 14,469.
So far, 2 530 744 vaccine doses against Covid-19 have been administered in Bulgaria, 9014 of them on the previous day.
A total of 1,324,137 people in Bulgaria completed the vaccination cycle, 6071 of them on the last day.
