Seventy-nine people in Bulgaria who tested positive for Covid-19 died last day, bringing the country’s disease-related death toll, according to the unified information portal report dated Jan.
Of 25 189 tests last day, 1892 – about 7.51 percent – were positive.
So far, 480 777 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Bulgaria, of which 38 980 are active, which represents a decrease of 669 in the number of active cases last day, according to the report.
The report said that 2,432 were registered as recovered on the previous day, bringing the total to 421,842.
There are 4,649 hospitalized patients with Covid-19, an increase from 22 last day, with 395 in intensive care, a decrease of one.
Twenty-nine medical staff tested positive the previous day, making a total of 14,214.
According to the report, 10,450 doses of vaccine were administered in Bulgaria last day for a total of 2,458,928.
A total of 1,272,680 people in Bulgaria completed the vaccination cycle, 7506 of them on the previous day.
