Seven people in Bulgaria who tested positive for Covid-19 died last day, bringing the country’s disease-related death toll to 17,987, according to the national information system’s daily report, Jan.
Of 14,771 tests done the previous day, 105 – about 0.71 percent – turned out positive.
To date, 420,964 cases of new coronavirus have been confirmed in Bulgaria, a number that includes the deceased, the active cases and those who have recovered from the virus.
There are 10,205 active cases, down from 222 on the last day.
The report said 320 people recovered from the virus last day, bringing the total to 392,772.
There are 1,752 hospitalized patients with Covid-19, down from 12 last day, with 208 in intensive care, a decrease from seven.
Two medical workers tested positive the previous day, bringing the total to 13,437, again a number that includes the deceased, the active cases and those who have recovered from the virus.
According to the report, 15,249 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered last day, bringing the total to 1,653,186.
A total of 745,572 people completed the vaccination cycle, meaning they received either a second dose or a single dose vaccination. This includes 9,674 people on June 18.
