The deaths of 47 people who tested positive for Covid-19 in Bulgaria were registered last day, bringing the country’s Covid-19 fatality to 28,852, according to the unified information portal report dated December 6.
Of those whose deaths were registered last day, none had been vaccinated against Covid-19, the report said.
Of 16,360 tests done the previous day, 706 – about 4.31 percent – turned out positive.
So far, 703 160 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Bulgaria, of which 100 811 are active. The number of active cases rose by 274 last day.
The report said that on the previous day, 385 people were registered to have recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 573,497.
In Bulgaria there are a total of 6130 patients with Covid-19 in hospital, of which 165 are newly admitted, according to the report. There are 674 in intensive care, three fewer than in the December 5 report.
Two medical staff tested positive the previous day for a total of 17,495.
So far, 3 400 750 vaccine doses against Covid-19 have been administered in Bulgaria, 4050 of them on Sunday.
A total of 1,802,611 people in Bulgaria completed the vaccination cycle, including 1,819 on the previous day, while 126,807 received a booster, including 1,476 on the previous day.
