The four districts are Blagoevgrad, Smolyan, Kurdzhali and Haskovo.
Twenty districts were warned of potentially dangerous weather with the lesser âCode Yellowâ warning.
Most of western Bulgaria has been warned of forecast heavy rain – the city and district of Sofia, as well as the districts of Pernik, Kyustendil, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Lovech and Gabrovo.
Districts in eastern Bulgaria received the warning of forecast strong winds – Veliko Turnovo, Rousse, Turgovishte, Razgrad, Silistra, Shumen, Dobrich, Varna, Burgas, Jambol and Sliven.
A warning of stormy winds and moderately high waves was issued for the entire length of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
The Stara Zagora district received a âCode Yellowâ warning for both heavy rain and strong winds.
The remaining four districts in northwestern Bulgaria – Vidin, Montana, Vratsa and Pleven – have been given âCode Greenâ, which means that there is no weather warning.
