Bulgaria‘s industrial production rose 19% yoy in March after rising 14.8% in February, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday, citing preliminary data.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose 5% in March after rising 0.3% the previous month, NSI said in a monthly report.
The largest annual growth of the index components was recorded by beverage production – 44.7%, followed by the production of wood or wood and cork products other than furniture, and the production of computer, electronic and optical products – by 24.0%.
Production growth of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning utilities was 51.1%, while production of mining and quarrying industry increased by 19.4% annually.
