Bulgarian authorities have issued a series of weather warnings for April 10 due to forecast storms, heavy rain and strong winds.
The code orange dangerous weather warning was issued for five districts: Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Smolyan, Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo because of the forecast storms and heavy rains.
Due to forecast storms and strong winds, a code orange warning has been issued for two districts: Pazardzhik and Kurdzhali.
The lower code yellow potentially hazardous weather alert was issued for eight districts because of forecast storms and rain: Lovech, Turgovishte, Rousse, Razgrad, Silistra, Shoumen, Varna and Dobrich.
Six districts are subject to a code yellow warning due to forecast strong winds: Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia District (as opposed to the city of Sofia), Kyustendil and Yambol.
Three districts are subject to a Code Yellow warning due to forecast storms and strong winds: Blagoevgrad, Haskovo and Sliven.
The remaining four districts are Code Green, meaning there is no weather warning: Sofia City, Pleven, Pernik and Bourgas.
