20 new Shluchim announced during Kinus Hashluchos

20 Chabad couples are joining the global network of Chabad Shluchim, it was announced Sunday during the International Kinus Hashluchos in New York. Here are their names. Whole story

Shluchos gathered at the International Kinus Hashluchos tribute event in New York on Sunday received the news of the addition of more Shluchim.

20 Chabad couples go on shlichus, start new Chabad centers or work to expand existing Chabad institutions around the world.

The announcement was made by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, who added that these couples will receive initial funding from Chabad headquarters.

“There is no greater gift to the Rebbe than bringing down a new Shlich,” said Rabbi Kotlarsky.

The new shluchim will help Chabad expand into new demographics, including CKids, CTeen, Chabad on Campus, Young Professionals, shluchei Torah, and Chabad on Call, Rabbi Kotlarsky said.
